A strong proponent of raising awareness and working with youth, the TWBF engages in a number of activities to promote conservation and wildlife-related issues. In this capacity, the TWBF helps manage and promote and publicizes events related to eBird and World Migratory Bird Day. It also works with partners and government groups to coordinate education and outreach activities for a number of events including:

 

-The annual Alishan National Scenic Area Bird Race

-The annual Dasyueshan International Bird Race

-The annual Free Buzzard at Mt. Bagua event (celebrating the Grey-faced Buzzard migration)
